First Post, Fresh Start, Hello World!

Hi everyone!

I’ve got to admit that I was torn earlier whether I should make an ‘intro’ post as my first blog entry or rather post a review or something. I’ve seen other book blogs do the same. You see, I was thinking that few months or years later, I’d go back and browse my archives and laugh at my first post or something. But hey, I thought it’d be cool. So I decided to make an intro post so you guys could have an idea of what I’ll be blogging about and what I hope and such. Besides, I think having a book review or a meme as the first post would make it look so formal. And I think having an ‘intro’ post as the first one would be very personal and I like people who make things personal . . . ya feel meh?

ANYWAYS, let’s get to it!

I’m Louise and I’ll be blogging mainly about YA fiction books of all genres (probably except werewolves …. and possibly vampires). I have a co-blogger for Adult and New Adult Fiction, Sadie, who’s my cousin. We share only one account. But I doubt Sadie would be very much active in blogging. Anyways, first post, fresh start. Hello world! We’re the newest book bloggers as of August 15^th. I have a lot of hopes for this book blog—to meet new blogger and author friends around the globe, to help authors get their books out THERE into the great big world, to participate in blog tours, blitzes and reveals, to reach a few months or last for years, to participate in challenges and memes, and so much more!

I think I’ll be posting a list of my blog goals tomorrow 😀 and I think it’s a terribly long list. Yeah, I’m kind of obsessed in listing stuff. So expect a lot of lists on this blog.

As for now, I’m looking for blogger friends! Care to be one? Oh, and I’m also looking for other book blogs to follow. So if you have one, don’t hesitate to let me know, I’ll check it out and let’s be virtual friends! Whahoo!
